New computer lab thanks to the support of the Lodz University of Technology Foundation.
Thanks to the funding provided by the Lodz University of Technology Foundation, our unit has been equipped with a modern computer lab that significantly enhances the quality of classes and the comfort of work for both students and staff.
As part of the project, 16 high‑performance computers were purchased, each built on twenty‑core processors that ensure smooth operation even during the most demanding computational tasks. Every workstation is equipped with 8‑gigabyte graphics cards, enabling work in computer graphics, 3D modelling, data analysis and engineering simulations.
The new setups are complemented by high‑resolution modern monitors as well as keyboards and mice from a renowned leading manufacturer, ensuring ergonomic and precise work. Together, they create a professional teaching environment that meets current technological standards.
Thanks to the Foundation’s support, it was possible to create a space that genuinely strengthens digital competence development, enables teaching at the highest level and opens new opportunities for research projects.
