Dr inż. Dariusz Witkowski received a medal from the Commission of National Education during the ceremonial meeting of the PŁ Senate.
On the day of 13th November 2024, during the ceremonial meeting of the PŁ Senate our employee dr inż. Dariusz Witkowski had received a medal from the Commission of National Education for his efforts towards promoting education and helping to improve and advance our University.
Dr inż. Witkowski teaches in Polish and English, works as an Erasmus+ program coordinator and the faculty supervisor of foreign exchange internships. Due to his efforts, our University has established cooperation with many foreign educational institutions, such as National University of Honduras (see: Z cyklu "Nasi w świecie" – odcinek 1: Honduras – dr inż. Dariusz Witkowski), University of Elche in Spain or Esslingen University in Germany.
Additionally, since 2015 Dr inż. Witkowski has been organizing annual trips for students, as a part of Intensive Project "Engineering Vision" and International Project Week. Dr inż. Witkowski also promotes and works on many events, such as "Dziewczyny na Politechniki," "Festiwal Nauki, Techniki i Sztuki" or "Poznaj Miejsce Pracy Mamy i Taty," and advertises our University by presenting our educational offer in high schools.
From 2016 to 2019 dr inż. Witkowski had been a member of the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Łódź University of Technology. Then, from 2019 to 2022 he had been an Expert of European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training, nominated for that position by the Minister of Science and Higher Education.
For his work, dr inż. Witkowski had already been awarded by the Rector of the Lodz University of Technology multiple times in the past.
