ITM with a double distinction in the Lodz University of Technology scholarship competition

The eighteenth edition of the Lodz University of Technology Scholarship Competition, funded by the University’s Own Scholarship Fund, has concluded. This year, interest in the programme was exceptionally high. The Office for Student Affairs received 60 applications from employees, doctoral candidates and students representing various units of the university. Following detailed formal and substantive evaluation, the Scholarship Committee awarded 28 scholarships across several categories: professorial, habilitation and doctoral scholarships, as well as support for master’s and engineering students.

We are pleased to announce that the recipient of the professorial scholarship is Dr hab. Eng. Damian Obidowski. This distinction recognises his scientific achievements to date and his contribution to the development of research conducted at Lodz University of Technology. The habilitation scholarship was awarded to Dr Eng. Michał Lipian, whose scientific activity and research output were also highly rated by the Scholarship Committee.

For many years, the programme has played an important role in strengthening the academic community of Lodz University of Technology, enabling the most talented and dedicated individuals to pursue ambitious scientific, research and development projects, enhance their competencies, implement innovative initiatives and support young talents at every stage of their academic careers.
