The exceptionally energy‑efficient vehicle developed by the Iron Warriors team from Lodz University of Technology has once again attracted media attention, this time from the nationwide portal Strefa Edukacji - https://strefaedukacji.pl/studenci-z.../ar/c5p2-29393271.

The design, which we have already written about previously, was presented in the context of the team’s latest achievements during the New Mobility Congress 2026 in Katowice. The editorial team highlighted the impressive result of 251 km per kilowatt‑hour, equivalent to 2267 km per litre of fuel, which represents a record‑breaking performance in the Prototype Battery Electric category. The article also describes the activities of the student research group, its projects, and the ways in which participation in such initiatives helps students develop their competencies.

The project developed by our young engineers has also attracted the interest of the information‑and‑education portal Świat OZE - https://www.facebook.com/reel/1088910063781055, which prepared its own coverage of the event. The material, available at the link below, presents a broader context for the student teams’ presentations and highlights their contribution to the development of modern mobility technologies.

INNPoland – https://innpoland.pl/231901,837-kilometrow-na-litrze-benzyny-studenci-z-lodzi-stworzyli-niezwykly-bolid, one of Poland’s leading portals focused on innovation, technology and the modern economy, also highlighted the importance of such projects for developing engineering competencies and promoting environmentally friendly solutions in transport.

The Congress provided a space in which young engineers from various universities presented their innovative designs, shared their experiences, and showcased the results of work carried out with the support of the academic community. The joint presence of the Iron Warriors team and other student groups demonstrated the important role that universities play in technological development and highlighted the significant potential inherent in the work of young engineers. We are pleased that our students’ projects are receiving such broad and positive media recognition.
