Hybrid plane for local transport
As a part of international HE-ART project (Mulit-MW Hybrid-Electric Propulsion System for Regional Aircraft), coordinated on the Łodź University of technology by prof. Krzysztof Jóźwik, the Institute of Turbomachinery will design an environmentally friendly, hybrid propulsion plane for regional transport.
The project has a budget of 60 mln euro and is a part of Europa Horizon Project, connecting together 30 partners, such as engine producers Rolls Royce and Safran, plane producers ATR, Airbus and Leonardo and various research and scientific institutions.
