On 5th of March 2025 a public discussion of doctoral dissertation: "Influence of different design solutions of progressive guide vanes on the efficiency of radial fans", by mgr inż. Dawid Zarębski was held in the Institute. The dissertation was written under the guidance of prof. dr hab. inż. Krzysztof Jóźwik.
Discussion was organized in the recently modernized auditorium, dedicated to prof. Władysław Gundlach. The auditorium was recently equipped with a new audiovisual system, thanks to the financial support provided by Fundacja Politechniki Łódzkiej, that was proven very convenient for such an event.
Mgr inż. Zarębski's work was reviewed by prof. dr hab. inż. Piotr Doerffer (Gdańsk University of Technology), prof. dr hab. inż. Witold Elsner (Częstochowa University of Technology) and prof. dr hab. inż. Krzysztof Badyda (Warsaw University of Technology).
