A Research Station for the examination of low-power refrigeration compressors.

This station is used for the examination of refrigeration compressors of cooling power lower or equal to 1 kW, using the calometric method. The testing methods used are in accordance with the current norms PN-EN 13771-1:2005 and ANSI/ASRAE 23.1. The test consists of the main examination (calometric method) and verification (measuring the mass flux of the agent).

Measurements can detect such parameters as:

  • cooling efficiency
  • the power used by the compressor
  • the compression value
  • Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) or the cooling system
  • the functionality of the compressor
