Using the funds provided by Fundacja Politechniki Łódzkiej, the project room (223) in the Institute of Turbomachinery has been equipped with fourteen movable soundwalls.

On the day 4th of April in the Institute of Turbomachinery Ernest Kmieciak presented a seminar: "AI crash course - On AI and AI tools".

On 5th of March 2025 a public discussion of doctoral dissertation: "Influence of different design solutions of progressive guide vanes on the efficiency of radial fans", by mgr inż. Dawid Zarębski was held in the Institute. The dissertation was written under the guidance of prof. dr hab. inż. Krzysztof Jóźwik.

On the day 25th of February in the Institute of Turbomachinery M. Sc. Tariq Ullah presented a seminar: "Passive flow control methods for stall control in a centrifugal compressor".

On the day 11th of February in the Institute of Turbomachinery M. Sc. Muhammad Zahid presented a seminar: "Non-linear feature extraction methods in centrifugal compressor".

On the day 11th of February in the Institute of Turbomachinery M. Sc. Abdul Basit presented a seminar: "Mathematical Modeling of Unstable Flows in Centrifugal Compressor".

On the day 4th of February in the Institute of Turbomachinery dr inż. Zbigniew Tyfa presented a seminar: "MAPIATO – Mathematical system for predicting the outcomes of intracranial aneurysm treatments".

On the day of 19th February 2025, at the age of 89 years old, passed away prof. dr hab. inż. Jan Krysiński.

On the day of 4th January 2025, at the age of 79 years old, passed away prof. dr hab. inż. Andrzej Błaszczyk.

At the end of November 2024, a delegation of employees from our Institute has joined a project meeting for the Horizon Europe - FLEXIndustries project.
